According to the bible and many current events, our world, our nation, our families and friends, and we are quickly heading towards perilous times.
Note: Verses are Blue, Bold and Centered
The following verse states there will be a leader who will control every ones buying & selling using a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads. This was not possible earlier or until super computers were invented. This leader opposes God and desires control. This is the verse in the bible:
He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given marks on their right hands, or on their foreheads; and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
(John writing in Revelation 13:16-17 WEB)
This leader offers Israel a covenant to build a temple and sacrifice animals on the altar to worship God as the Jews had done in the past. Halfway through the covenant, the leader (the Antichrist) demands to be worshiped and also ends animal sacrifices. This future covenant can not take place until Jews were back in their land as a nation. They need to have the promise of building a temple for this covenant to take place. The Jews were living centuries in exile in many nations around the world, (not in the land promised to them from God in the Old Testament). This promise was fulfilled when the Jews returned to Israel and it became a statehood in the year 1948. PROMISES of God FULFILLED. This was a miracle. The land was a desert and now the land of Israel is flourishing and the Jews are back in it as a nation. The US was the first to recognize Israel’s statehood.
This is the scripture in the bible that tells of the seven year covenant the Antichrist makes with the nation of Israel:
He will make a firm covenant with many for one seven. In the middle of the seven he will cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. On the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, wrath will be poured out on the desolate.”
(Daniel 9:27)
The “seven” referred to here represents a seven year period. The “middle of the seven” occurs 3 and 1/2 years into this period. This period is often referred to as the time of the “Great Tribulation”.
Jesus refers to “signs of the times” in His teachings which are very much like today’s news articles.
As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains. Then they will deliver you up to oppression, and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name’s sake. Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another. Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray. Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved. This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
(Jesus speaking in Matthew 24:3-14 WEB)
When will these things prophesized in the Bible take place?
“Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished.”
(Jesus speaking in Luke 21:32 WEB)
We are this generation, and this will be explained later.
What takes place next according to the bible? The rapture of the church!
For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
(Paul writing in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 WEB)
The Lord is coming to receive believers to himself. We will be raptured or caught up in the clouds with Christ, those living and those who had died.
What is this mystery of the rapture according to the bible?
Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood can’t inherit God’s Kingdom; neither does the perishable inherit imperishable. Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.
(Paul writing in 1 Corinthians 15:50-52 WEB)
The Holy Spirit is restraining the lawless one, the Antichrist from being revealed.
Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season. For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way. Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and destroy by the manifestation of his coming; even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn’t receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
(Paul writing in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-17)
Do you agree knowledge is being increased quickly in this world. As the prophet Daniel was fasting over a 3 week period, he was visited by a man Daniel described as:
clothed in linen, whose thighs were adorned with pure gold of Uphaz. His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as flaming torches. His arms and his feet were like burnished brass. The voice of his words was like the voice of a multitude.
Daniel 10: 5&6
2800 years ago, this is what Daniel wrote this man said to him about “a time such as now“:
But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many will run back and forth, and knowledge will be increased.”
(Daniel 12:4 WEB)
How many years is a generation according to the bible?
The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.
(Psalms 90:10 WEB)
God is once again going to deal with the Jewish people. Once Israel achieved statehood as a nation in 1948, the generation began that “won’t pass away.” We understand a generation is 70-80 years of life. If you add 70-80 years to 1948 when Israel achieved statehood, we have the years from 2018 until 2028 remaining as a “likely” time for the rapture of the church to take place. The beginning of the Tribulation could occur soon after this. Realize the years of the Tribulation will be a time of great hardship. The tribulation is God’s judgment coming upon those remaining on earth. But …
After the rapture, there is still hope for those who remain on the earth. They can be saved by placing their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. In scripture it says many will be saved during the tribulation. For example, in the Book of Revelation regards the Children of Israel who become believers:
I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Don’t harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the voluntary bondservants of our God on their foreheads!” I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel.
(John writing in Revelation 7:2-4)
Regards those who are Gentiles (non-descendants of Israel) who become “saved” (i.e. believers) during the tribulation:
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
(John writing in Revelation 7:9-10 WEB)
I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood.
(John writing in Revelation 7:14 WEB)
Jesus said in the Book of Revelation, chapter 3:
Because you say, ‘I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;’ and don’t know that you are the wretched one, miserable, poor, blind, and naked; I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me. He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”
(Revelation 3:17-22 WEB)
Jesus “stands at the door and knocks”. He hopes you will open the door and dine with Him.
